Endangered Ocellate Mountain viper


The Ocellate Mountain viper (Montivipera Wagneri) once was thought to have been extinct for almost 140 years. But in 1983 it was again found in eastern turkey.

The Ocellate Mountain viper lives in Eastern Turkey and north-west Iran. The Ocellate Mountain viper's habitat is rocky and grassy country.
